a say and a vote.

so i voted yesterday. stood in line at 7 am for about an hour and a half after getting in a little fender bender on the way (oops!)...if that isn't perserverance what is?
i would have to say it was a great experience. its a chance to see the people and diversity that lives just around the corner and the passion people have about freedom and having a say and a need in america. i might have loved it. so maybe it was a little disorganized. maybe it was early. but i really loved it.
and a shout out to joel who had given up on getting to vote and went at 6 pm and ended up there was no wait...his little reward for embracing the freedom that america has to offer. heart.

them panthers. 2 favorites today.

so i try not to get too excited when the panthers are #1. somehow all of my teams, even if they are #1, you don't hold your breath (yep, i'm a wolfpack fan). but i have a glimmer of hope. and i think it is because of jake delhomme. now some of you don't agree with my deep love to little jake. but the kids got heart. and the panthers are #1 in their division...you gotta give em a little credit. till next week anyway.
